Everyone is doing fancy PSUs nowadays. These I believe are from
Super Flower.
Even ASUS are doing it. PSUs never had it so good!
That\'s not all ASUS had going for them. Check out this Digimatrix. This dinky little unit would not look out of place in your AV cabinet in the living room.
It has all the usual USB 2.0, LAN, Wi-Fi, Video in/out stuff plus DVD writing, 7-1 card reader, HD TV out, TV tuner, 6 channel audio, FM radio, HDD recording and full function remote control. Oh and it can take up to a 3.4GHz P4 PC too depending on which version you buy!
The man from ASUS , he explains to macro \"These are gonna\' be big!\". Not sure if he means the Digimatrix or his hands! (Actually he was pretty cool and a real nice guy).
These \"Xfans\" produced interesting lighting patterns thanks to their internal controller which alters the lighting sequences dependant on fan speed. Obviously the picture cannot convey the patterns. They did look pretty cool though. This is a similar idea to my
Fan Strobe project. They are still being developed with a view to them being programmed with logos etc. such as the logo from your favourite game. Stay tuned for a review as soon as they are available.
The \"Fan Master\" fan controller from
Super Flower.
I would never say CoolerMaster over did things. These actually looked quite spectacular.
I-cute had some LED feet made from clear plastic. (And all the usual lighty up stuff too)
